miniconsent is in early access. Some terms below reflect that, and they may change before public launch. By using the service you agree to the current version of these terms.
1. The service
miniconsent is a consent management platform: a lightweight consent banner, server-side consent logging, a pre-consent cookie scanner, and a cookie-policy generator. “The service” covers this website, the admin app, and the banner SDK.
2. Early access & changes
Features and pricing are evolving. We may add, change, or remove functionality, and pricing shown during early access (including waitlist pricing) is provisional until public launch. During early access the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
- Don’t use the service for unlawful purposes or to process data you have no right to process.
- Don’t attempt to breach, probe, or overload the service or its infrastructure.
- Don’t resell or white-label the service except under an agreement that permits it.
5. Your compliance responsibility
miniconsent helps you meet GDPR and ePrivacy obligations, but you remain responsible for your own legal compliance and for configuring the service correctly for your site. For consent data collected via miniconsent on your website, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. miniconsent does not provide legal advice.
6. Intellectual property
We own the platform, the banner SDK, and the miniconsent brand. You own your data and content. While your account is active, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use the banner SDK on the websites you operate.
7. Availability & warranties
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, during early access the service is provided without warranties of any kind.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, miniconsent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for your legal-compliance outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination we delete or return your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s jurisdiction stated on our Imprint page, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
11. Contact & changes
We’ll post changes here and update the “last updated” date. Questions? [email protected].
